My team and I are geared up, and we are ready for our annual cross country cherry blossom photo tour Japan. This year we will be guiding a full group, consisting of eight participants from around the world. Our 12-day Japan luxury photography tour vacation journey will start in Tokyo at the Pacific Ocean and take us through the interior to the sea of Japan and back to the Pacific Ocean. Our journey will take us to places often visited, but for the most part, we will remain off the beaten tourist track for the best photographic experiences. Mt. Fuji we will visit all the Fuji five lakes comprised of Yamanakako, Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Shojiko and Motsosuko lakes. While in the Fuji area we will visit the sea of trees, shirato waterfalls, and chureito Pagoda with it's legendary and iconic view of cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji in the backdrop. Matsumoto castle we will take part in the festivities inside the castle grounds while live musicians entertain and we may enjoy the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. During cherry blossom season the castle is fully lit up at night, and we will photograph this samurai castle and its reflection in its moat, during the daylight we photograph and explore inside this samurai castle used official till 1868. Snow Monkeys we will have up close and personal encounters with the wild Japanese macaque and photograph the newborn monkeys. By the Sea of Japan, you can expect to experience the perfect cherry blossoms and the most beautiful Oiran Geisha Parade Procession across Japan.
