Mating Red-Crowned Cranes Hokkaido, Japan.
I have been unsuccessful in filming the Red-Crowned Cranes mating for several years. And I am often photographing and filming at one of the many riversides where they roost in the marshlands of Hokkaido. I filmed this video during my annual Hokkaido Photo tour in February 2020. There were about a dozen photographers on the bridge this morning. I remember in 2019-2019 it was so crowded with tourists easily over a hundred and many without cameras, so covid/19 is effective in getting rid of none wildlife birders and camerapersons.
