Happy Holidays and Year of the Rabbit from Blain Harasymiw Photography!
Thankfully, in 2022 Japan opened its borders, and I was able to host several Japan Photo Workshops, my first in nearly three years. My team and I are excited to be back in the field, and we have several fully booked photography workshops, such as my annual Hokkaido photo tour which is generally sold out one or two years in advance. Everyone is looking forward to the end of corona, and it may finally be coming into sight, but until we reach the epidemic stage, I will be continuing preparing PPE kits for participants to make sure everyone remains healthy on my workshops, and I will do everything in my power so everyone returns home Covid- Free and safe.
I am currently camping and meditating ahead of my February Japan photography workshops, enjoying some of the finest healing milky white hot springs that Hokkaido has to offer. Being a Hokkaido local pays some sweet dividends. My camera is never far away, and since I approach everything with the Zen beginner’s mindset, I’m happy to once again enjoy locations in Hokkaido I’ve grown to love and cherish in the more than two decades I’ve spent exploring regions throughout Japan’s northern island with the same passion as when I first visited.
Everyone at Blain Harasymiw Photography wishes you, your family, and friends a safe and happy holiday season. We’re all looking forward to reading your comments and messages by email and on social media, and we appreciate the many friends who have sent us 2023 calendars and season’s greetings cards. We are most looking forward to hosting you for those once in a lifetime Japan photo tours and photography in 2023.
