10% of all active volcanoes are in Japan, and I think that Japan’s Volcanoes are the most photogenic.  The most famous of all active volcanoes in Japan is, of course, Mt. Fuji which is also part of several of the Blain Harasymiw photo tours.  More than the iconic snow-capped Mt. Fuji, other photo ops are also available such dynamic gas venting from cracks in the earth close enough to the surface.  The unpredictable nature of the thermal venting makes it impossible for me to promise as a shutter chance for every photo tour participant that joins a Japan Photo Tour, but you could be one of the lucky ones to have the opportunity to take pictures like the one with this blog post.  Many of my Tours include Mt.
